Low-Dose Naltrexone

At Royal Family Pharmacy, we offer custom-compounded Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) as a powerful, non-opioid therapy to support immune balance, reduce inflammation, and improve quality of life for patients with chronic conditions.

What is LDN?

Low Dose Naltrexone is a compounded medication that uses a much lower dose than the standard version of naltrexone (typically 0.5–4.5 mg vs. 50 mg). Originally approved to treat opioid addiction, LDN has shown promising benefits in modulating the immune system and reducing inflammation—without the side effects of high-dose use.

How LDN Works

LDN temporarily blocks opioid receptors, which leads to a rebound increase in endorphin production. These endorphins help regulate the immune system, reduce inflammation, and improve pain tolerance. This makes LDN especially valuable in autoimmune, neurologic, and inflammatory conditions.

Conditions Supported by LDN

LDN may be helpful for patients with:

  • Hashimoto’s thyroiditis
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Multiple sclerosis (MS)
  • Crohn’s disease & ulcerative colitis
  • Lupus
  • Chronic fatigue syndrome
  • Long COVID and chronic inflammation
  • Endometriosis & chronic pelvic pain
  • Neuropathic pain & fibromyalgia

Why Compounded LDN?

LDN is not commercially available in low doses, so it must be compounded. At Royal Family Pharmacy, we offer LDN in:

· Capsules (immediate or slow-release)

· Suspensions (for pediatric or titration use)

· Topical creams (for pain and dermatologic use)

Each prescription is tailored to your specific dose, release type, and ingredient sensitivities.
